What we actually store, and why. We don't sell personal data, and we don't keep card numbers.

Who to write to

StakkPay runs Stakk. Privacy questions go to privacy@stakk.cc. A registered office is not published here. Ask, and we will send it.

If you run a store

We store the email and password hash for your account, your shop settings, the plan you are on, and the files and product data you upload. That is how you sign in, how the dashboard runs, how a file is delivered, and how the plan fee is charged.

You are responsible for your buyers' data. They bought from you. We store the order so your store can deliver it, and we act on your instructions for that data.

If you buy from a store

Checkout asks for the email and any details the product needs, such as a Discord account or a license field. We keep the order: what you bought, the amount, whether it was paid, and the delivery. The store owner can see that order.

Card numbers go to Stripe or PayPal, on the seller's account. Stakk does not store the card. A crypto payment is the wallet address and the transaction. We watch the chain to see if it was paid. We don't custody the coins.

Support messages

If a store turns on chat, the message is sent to the seller's Telegram or Discord channel so they can reply. That channel is theirs. Those services keep their own copies. We don't read the seller's other channels.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal data. We don't run ads off your orders. The marketing site doesn't use a third-party ad tracker. Sign-in uses a session cookie, described on the cookie page.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare hosts Stakk. Email goes out through the mail provider that sends receipts and account mail. Payment providers see the payment you send them. Discord or Telegram sees a message only when the seller asked us to relay it.

Short-lived server logs, mostly an IP address and the request, are kept so we can stop abuse and fix errors.

How long

Account data stays while the account is open. Order records stay while the store keeps them, and longer if a legal claim or an accounting rule that actually applies to us requires it. Chat is not kept forever. Logs are deleted when they are no longer useful for security.

Your rights

If the law where you live gives you access, correction, deletion, or a way to object, email privacy@stakk.cc. A request about a buyer's order is passed to the store that collected it, because that store has to answer. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
